Dr. Matthew Franz

Dr. Matthew Franz, DC, CCSP was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. He attended Reagan High School where he participated in football, basketball and track. He then went on to play football in Abilene for two years before hanging up the cleats due to a series of injuries dating back to high school. Dr. Matt finished his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University with a bachelors in Nutrition Health and Wellness before starting his chiropractic journey at Parker University. He got to experience first hand the benefit of chiropractic treatment by receiving care throughout his high school career and Dr. Matt wanted to be able to do the same, not only to the younger generation of athletes but to anyone who is active, no matter the age.

While at Parker University in Dallas,TX, Dr. Matt was a member of many organizations on campus that included Rehab 2 Performance and the Motion Palpation Institute. After completing his Doctorate degree, Dr. Matt moved to Florida where he was lucky enough to be the chiropractor for the University of Florida football team. He was also able to treat many Olympic and professional level athletes during his time there before moving back home to San Antonio. He recently became a board certified sports chiropractor through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians to continue his love and passion of helping athletes.

When Dr. Matt is not at work, he is typically spending time with his amazing wife Macartney and daughter, Evie. He enjoys working out, golfing, and eating good food during his spare time.
